TFOCA GenX 90 Degree Fiber Optic Connector

Overview

Stran Technologies’s TFOCA GenX 90° Plug Connector is designed for mounting applications where the installer has limited workspace or the connection needs to be re-routed close to equipment. One major advantage of this connector is its short length of 3.20” making it ideal for cabinet or equipment mounted fiber connections.

Compatible with legacy systems, our connectors have field demountable front inserts for improved maintainability and captured split alignment sleeves for enhanced insertion loss performance. In addition, they are available with PC polish on their zirconia ferrules and all types of plating including zinc/nickel plating, on request, Available with keyed and annotated front insert caps, both single-mode as well as multimode fibers are compatible in the same connector without any sub-component substitution. Our GenX 90° connectors are intermateable with MIL-PRF-83526/16 specification connectors as well.
