Custom Training

STRAN Technologies offers custom installation and maintenance training to support all of our products.  Thus enabling our customers to optimize the implementation of the systems we provide and realize the maximum length of useful service life.  In many cases we use our in-house technical design and application engineering staff to support this service thereby providing personnel with relevant first-hand experience.

For more extensive programs we have a range of 3rd party training partners who have been carefully vetted to support STRAN's product line.

Field Services

STRAN can support field termination of just about any type of optical interconnect system.  Our manufacturing and application engineers have tackled all types of standard and more specialized fiber optic termination types.  Backed up by extensive in-house expertise and prototyping capabilities we can offer a full range of termination services including;

• Simplex connector installation on multichannel specialty harsh environment cable with rugged, custom breakout kits
• Repair of connectors and cable systems, including field fusion splicing and cable restoration
• Multichannel connector installation to near factory standards, with available field machine polishing techniques to ensure correct end-face geometry for singlemode systems
• Fiber optic systems health survey for fault diagnosis and recommendations for repair, optimization or life extension
• Initiation and audit of user field depots as authorized STRAN product certification and repair centers
