STRAN Technologies 2 fiber TFOCA connectors are engineered and tested to satisfy the mechanical and environmental requirements of DOD-1678 and MIL-STD-810C. The connectors meet the requirements of MIL-C-83526/12-01. Connector and housing assemblies are hermaphroditic which facilitates genderless coupling with similar connectors. This ruggedized connector will withstand the repeated connection/disconnections and the handling typically required for rapid fiber optic cable deployment and retrieval in a tactical or commercial harsh environment applications.

The connectors 2 fiber unique design and environmentally protected design provides protection from high compressive tensile loads, dust and dirt. In addition, a waterproof seal at every interface insures outstanding resistance to moisture and water penetration. Each connector is protected with its own captive hermaphroditic dust cover. The cable termination is designed to firmly anchor the cable to the connector body without special tooling. These connectors are field mountable and repairable with the 1/A TFOCA repair kit or can be ordered as a complete cable/connector assembly.
