M28876 Navy Shipboard Fiber Optic Connectors

Overview

STRAN Technologies offers cylindrical multi-pin and socket fiber optic connectors manufactured to the design and interface requirements referenced in the MIL-PRF-28876E specification. This series of connectors provide multi-channel interconnects for 2, 4, 6, 8, 18 and 31* contacts (termini) in a single circular shell. The M28876 connectors offer the customer a very reliable, rugged interconnect product that is designed to provide low loss over 20+ years of life in harsh environments. Various configurations allow this series to accommodate many variables based upon the customers needs.

  • Available in a variety of backshells: Straight, 45 and 90 degree versions,   and in various materials and finishes   which include Cadmium/Nickel over   Al, Nickel/Boron and Hard-coat   anodized over Al, and 303 or 316   stainless steel
