Our QPL M29504/14 and /15 Termini are pin and socket fiber optic contacts that are designed to be inserted in a housing in order to hold and align them together. The housing units are generally multi terminus connectors such as the MIL-C-28876 types or Hermaphroditic connector types, such as our TACLight series. The amount of termini used depends upon the connector configurations. The COTS 29504 type termini bodies are made from stainless steel and the retention clips are beryllium copper. The zirconia ferrules are held to extreme tolerances (1um TIR). However, other ferrule materials can be made available. The termini use Belleville washers as the spring member in lieu of a conventional spring. This
