STRAN Technologies is a proud US based company founded in 1997 and has established itself as a leader in fiber optic interconnect technology. Located in the Naugatuck Valley in Connecticut, STRAN is in the heart of an industrial area with a legacy of precision machining, interconnect expertise, specialty optical fiber fabrication and aerospace technology. Similarly our technical staff represent a depth of involvement in the emergence of fiber optics as a preferred data transmission medium, especially for harsh environment applications. As we have grown our technology base has expanded to cover all types of data connectivity solutions and our focus is on customizing the right product set for the application.

Our core values are quality and reliability, with several quality system approvals (ISO9001, AS9100, Mil-Std-790) and qualified products to back this up. QPL (Qualified Products List) connectors include; M28876, M29504, M83522 and M83526 (draft) and qualification separates STRAN into the top tier of military connectivity manufacturers. In addition we have always strived to offer world class service and support with some of the industry’s shortest lead-times, even for highly customized solutions. As evidence of this we have been awarded preferred supplier status at a number of major prime defense contractors.

STRAN is also competent in the support of foreign military and worldwide harsh environment industrial applications with well established Export Control Procedures and corporate knowledge of ITAR restrictions. This is particularly useful to global companies deploying our products worldwide and companies in partner nations building defense systems under license from the US.
